Yoga

At Wellness Works we offer various styles of yoga to meet the needs of every individual coming to our facility.

YIN YOGA a series of gentle, passive poses to stimulate core connective tissues, fascia, ligaments and meridian/organ systems.  It helps with the flow of Chi (energy), while releasing tension and improving overall well being.  With it's quiet atmosphere this is a wonderful class to revitalize and clear the mind, especially during a busy day.

VINYASA FLOW YOGA incorporates asana poses with breath-sychronized movements and includes pranayama (breath work), setting intentions, sun salutations, balance, standing postures, floor work, and relaxation techniques. Music enhances the flow and rhythm of the class.

GENTLE YOGA is geared toward anyone who wants to relax, including beginning students, seniors and/or those who want a gentle "work-in".

 (ha="sun" tha="moon") is a physical exercise practice that allows one to experience the unity behind opposites.  It allows one to be fully in touch with whom and what they are through the union of breath and specific body movements.

 

Hatha Yoga, like all yogas, is designed to help one realize and live a full, joyful life. The main difference between Hatha Yoga and other yogas is the focus on the individual poses for the purpose of strengthening, opening, and cleansing the body.

Hatha Yoga teaches a way to relax the mind and body, to find a sense of peace and calm. It brings an awareness that helps one to choose to be more present in the moment and more kind and accepting of themselves and others.  It also offers the physical benefits of increased flexibility, muscle strength, coordination, balance and agility.

 

 

Pricing:
Yoga classes are available in the following packages:
1. Intro Pack: 3 Yoga classes of your choice to be used any time before expiration date.   $25 
2. 5 Pack: 5 
Yoga classes of your choice to be used any time before expiration date.   $50
3. 10 Pack: 10 Yoga classes of your choice to be used any time before expiration date.   $100
4. Session Pass: Unlimited Yoga classes to be used any time before expiration date.   $150
5. Drop-In Pass: This may be used to attend one yoga class of your choice during the session.  $15

All unused classes become void after the expiration date noted on your session card. You may attend any class during the session, but registering at least 24 hours in advance is required to ensure class attendance. Payment in full for the block of your choice is due at the time of initial purchase. You may purchase more than one package of classes during one session. You must have your punch card with you to attend class. We cannot replace lost cards.
Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a towel or yoga mat. We do not have extras. You should always check with a physician before beginning any exercise program. Please come 15 minutes early to your first class for a brief orientation and introduction to our facility.
